Required documents for civil weddings:

• Photocopy of birth certificate + translation in Spanish and legalization
• Photocopy of passports (couple and 2 witnesses)
• Single status declaration + translation in Spanish and legalization
• Original divorce decree + translation in Spanish and legalization
• Documents to be legalized by the Dominican Embassy (except passports)
• Required documents for Catholic weddings to be sent upon request
• Couples will bring all the original documents with them to the hotel

All documents must be translated and legalized by the Dominican Embassy.
Passports are not required to be translated or authenticated copies therefor shall be valid.

Documents needed for Catholic Marriage
- Photocopy of birth certificate
- Photocopy of passport controls for marriage and married.
- Certificate of Catholic Baptism
- Certificate of Confirmation
- Permit and Authorization for the parish to the couple married in another country and the certificate of authorization from the couple.
- Certificate Course marital
