In 2004,the Group began its international expansion in the Caribbean with the construction of a 658-room hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. For its adventure in the Caribbean, the Group created its own brand, Majestic Resortswhich was launched in December 2005 with the opening of the hotel Majestic Colonial which set new standards to five star hotels so successfully that only two years after a second hotel was inaugurated, the hotel Majestic Elegance.
