"La mejor luna de miel"

Excelente Hotel, de partida el Mayordomo Isaias se portó increible, las habitaciones grandes y con jacuzzi incluido que fue lo mejor. Los espacios comunes como piscina rwstaurant eyc muy limpio y ordenado. Fuimos a pasar nuestra luna de miel y nos dieron de cortesia un desyuno y una cena romantica que fue espectacular. Ademas estuvimos en el Spa (de pago) pero fue increible la atención y el masaje. Sin lugar a dudas fue una luna de miel perfecta y un hotel de lujo. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today we had to make the tough decision to cancel our vacation with you due to the Canadian government asking us not to travel at this time. I want to extend our apologies and acknowledge how tough this situation is for all of you. We received a refund on our trip, which we were not expecting. "Carlos A., Green, Enrique, Vickian, Judith, Lionel Ritchie"

My wife and I recently enjoyed our 4th trip to your resort. I thought it might be slow with everything that happened in the DR last year and with coronavirus. Much to my surprise it was the busiest it's ever been. I was worried because we brought along friends this time. I figured something would go horribly wrong for sure. All expectations were met. The staff absolutely amazing as always! I want to mention a few names so these hard working people can hopefully get an extra day off to spend at home with their families. Carlos A (Rodeo grill) Green, Enrique, Judith, Vickian (bartenders) and Lionel Ritchie aka our butler. They were all fantastic!!! Could have had better room this time, but the resort was pretty well booked. Didn't give us the option for oceanfront when booking back in September, but 3 days in they were able to move us. Every room is the same huge size. Book Colonial club if you don't have children and want all the ammenities. If we ever go back to the DR we will gladly stay at the Majestic Colonial every time. 5 stars all the way!!! Lots of food choices and always something available any time of day or night!

"Beautiful Resorts, need to work out some things!"

We stayed at the resort 2-26 thru 3-1. There were 6 of us celebrating our friend’s 50th birthday. After reading the reviews before we left, we were a little worried. Most of the reviews were spot on…there are some great things about the resort and also things that need to be improved on. You can tell that the resort just opened and they need to work out the kinks! Check-in: Our check-in was a nightmare. We had 3 rooms confirmed for the Club section. On arrival they had all 3 rooms in the family section. They immediately indicated they would correct the problem, but it took all afternoon for them to find us rooms. Additionally, although they were nice about it, they treated us like they were giving us an upgrade. It wasn’t an upgrade at all. We had already been confirmed in the club section. Additionally, the amenities that we were promised for the club section were not given. We were confirmed to have a butler give us a tour of the property, gifts in room, champagne etc. We met our Butler Mariam a day or two after we got there. There were no gifts in room (didn’t really care about gifts). The point is don’t promise things that you cannot deliver on. We had confirmed twice with our travel agent that we were in the club section. Additionally, it feels like their travel partners and the resort are not on the same page. The check-in people had a “deer in the headlight look” when you mentioned what was confirmed…..They over-promise and under-deliver!! The front desk is your first impression of the resort. They need to get these issues resolved with their travel partners or people will not return. We should not have been made to feel like they were doing us a favor by giving us what we already paid for. Rooms: The rooms are beautiful. The showers do back up onto the bathroom floor…bad design. Also, there is no privacy between bathroom and bed areas. It’s a very open design. Pools: The pools were so cold you could not use them. This was super strange. We aren’t talking like a little cold… the people in the swim up rooms were not using their pools. We did aqua aerobics one day and it was literally unbearable. We’ve all been in chilly pools, these literally felt like ice was being pumped in. No one could sit at the swim up bars…this needs to be resolved ASAP. Spa: We got a pass to use the hydro pools at the spa. Honestly, I don’t think they should give these out unless you have a spa treatment. Although the spa is beautiful, it felt like a public pool. People were yelling across the pools to each other, leaving sauna doors wide open, laughing loudly and acting like they were at the outdoor pools. The staff did not give us a tour, they acted completely put out that we had this pass, and they did nothing to quiet people down. Spas should be tranquil and quiet. They did have signs on the wall that indicated “QUIET” but nothing was enforced. The locker room is a joke. It is the smallest locker room I have ever seen in a spa Restaurants: All the restaurants we tried were very good. We felt the food was excellent and the staff in all the restaurants gave us excellent service. They need more servers as the restaurants were half full. Bars: The bartenders made very good cocktails and they all provided great service. Property: The property is absolutely beautiful. The sleek, contemporary design provides a upscale feel and the views among the grounds are breathtaking. The beach is beautiful and easy to navigate. There are enough beach chairs and the servers try really hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. Entertainment: The entertainment around the pools and evening was really fun. Cindy who runs a lot of the activities is amazing.

"I give the resort 10 out of 10"

The best resort and experience that we have ever been too in all the years that we have been traveling!!! Every thing was a amazing! From staff to entertainment to the beaches and pools to food and the bars and cleanliness. We give Jesus, Arling, Manilon, Yaqui, Luis, Bennito, and Luis galay 10 out of 10!!!
