"We'll go somewhere else next time."

Food is very mediocre compare to other all inclusives. Customer service is a hit and miss. Casandra was the only one helping out. Lack if activities for teens. Alex intentionally misinformed about type of room we were getting to free up a swim out suite for someone else.

"Butler Service"

We just stayed at the mirage from March 20, 2021 to March 27, 2021. We wanted to give an extremely good review for a butler that covered my son's room, 5402. My son stayed from March 21, 2021 to March 28, 2021. Jeffre Maurico went above and beyond in his duties. He had an excellent attitude and was always checking to see if my son and daughter-in-law were happy and if they needed anything. He even helped us when our transportation didn't show up on time to take us to the airport on the 27th. You should be very happy to have such a dedicated employee working for you. Look forward to a return trip with more of our family. Like many reviews on your site, you really need to work on the quality, temperature and taste of your food. In addition, you should really have ranch dressing, a simple caesar salad and vanilla ice cream. One night we were given bubble gum ice cream with an apple dessert. The menu said it came with vanilla ice cream but they were out of vanilla. Someone thought bubble gum ice cream was an acceptable substitute. NOT GOOD!!

"Relaxing Escape"

Housekeeping consistently arrived very early in the mornings (9am), leading to us asking them to come back later, which they did not always do. More than once we had to ask our butler to make sure housekeeping came before we returned to the room in the late afternoon. Room service was not good and took a long time to arrive, if at all (even for something as simple as asking for water or extra silverware). The service at the Steakhouse and Seafood Restaurant were also a bit slow and it was difficult to get their attention, but no issue from service at any of the other restaurants. Beachside drink service wasn't great and drinks were often taken before they were finished. It sometimes took as more than 25 minutes to get the attention of a server at the beach or pool, and then another 25 minutes for that drink to be delivered to us. The bars often also took a good few minutes to get a drink, and I think they were just highly understaffed when it comes to bartenders and bar servers throughout the resort given they were servicing beach-side / pool-side orders too.
